Our story

Born out of genuine frustration.

In 2025, Vpayit was founded after spending years watching small business owners waste hours every month juggling spreadsheets, logging into supplier portals, and missing renewal windows on contracts that quietly became expensive.

The root problem was simple: no single place existed to see and manage every business bill. Large companies had finance teams and ERP systems. Small businesses had email inboxes and hope.

We built Vpayit using Open Banking — connecting directly to your business bank account to detect every recurring outgoing, classify it, benchmark it against the market, and surface savings automatically. No manual entry. No spreadsheets. No surprises.

The problem

UK SMEs are leaving money on the table.

Small businesses consistently overpay on recurring bills — not from carelessness, but because there has never been a simple, automated way to track and benchmark what they pay.

4+ hrs
Wasted every month
The average UK SME owner spends over 4 hours per month manually managing business bills across multiple portals and inboxes.
73%
Are overpaying right now
73% of UK small businesses are paying above-market rates on at least one recurring bill — most without knowing it.
£1,900
Average annual saving
Vpayit users save an average of £1,900 per year by identifying overpayments and switching to better-value contracts.
Too slow
To switch suppliers
Most SMEs know they should switch but never do — the process is too time-consuming. Vpayit removes the friction entirely.
How we work

Aligned with your interests.

Vpayit is free to use. We earn a referral commission from suppliers only when you choose to switch based on our recommendations — never for surfacing one supplier over another, and never at the cost of your savings.

No conflicts of interest

Our algorithm ranks every alternative supplier on price, reliability, and contract terms alone. We never accept payments from suppliers to improve their ranking. When we recommend a switch, it is because the data says it is genuinely the best deal for your business — full stop. You keep 100% of the savings.

No biased recommendations. Ever.
Purpose

Why we exist.

Vision

A world where no small business overpays on a single bill.

We believe financial clarity should be the default for every business — not a privilege reserved for enterprises with finance teams. Every owner, every bill, every month.

Mission

To give every UK SME the tools to manage, track, and reduce bills — automatically.

We give small businesses the same real-time visibility and switching power that large companies have always had, powered by Open Banking and built for the realities of running a small business.

Our values

What we stand for.

Transparency

We show you exactly how we make money, how we rank suppliers, and what our recommendations are based on. No hidden incentives. No black boxes. Everything in plain English.

Security

Read-only Open Banking access means we can never move your money. Bank-grade encryption and zero data selling. Your financial data is yours alone.

Simplicity

Managing bills should take seconds, not hours. We obsess over removing friction so that every feature is intuitive from day one — no training, no manuals, no headaches.

The team

The people behind Vpayit.
